Innovating for the Future of Training

The XR training industry is evolving rapidly, and with i3 Simulations your workforce can develop skills faster and more effectively. Immersive, simulated training results in higher engagement rates and provides performance assessment in real-time, helping your employees improve their performance where it matters most.

What is non-linear learning?

Also named ‘experiential’ or ‘hands-on’ learning, in this form of training learners create several pathways of approaching a given learning objective. This approach is more effective in learning applications targeted to improve analytical thinking, decision-making, soft skills and induce applied learning.

We use AI to facilitate non-linear scenarios with automatic variations.

Is there a recommended content format?

XR offers various levels of interactivity for learners to fine tune their skills in an applied workplace scenario simulating real-life situations. Integration with haptic solutions enhances the immersion as and when required.

The suggestion for development of operational skills is to scaffold three approaches for trainees to progress and pick from.

Learning Through Experience

XR offers various interactivity levels for learners to fine-tune their skills in an applied workplace scenario simulating real-life situations. Also named ‘experiential’ or ‘hands-on’ learning, in this form of training learners create several pathways of approaching a given learning objective.

Our XR training curriculums are built for experiential learning, with three stages to support skill progression:

Stage 1: Tutorial Mode

Learning through interactive knowledge tests and action prompts

Stage 2: Practice Mode

Non-linear mode where trainees repeat scenarios of increasing complexity

Stage 3: Testing Mode

Blended assessments of random task problems tailored to trainee ability

Can I measure
trainee performance?

Analytics measures both qualitative and quantitative aspects of the training, such as proficiency, precision of approach, quality and timeliness of delivery, and aspects such as behavioural and psychological attributes.

The training evaluation data is saved against an individual unique user profile and is used to deliver a tailored, non-linear and adaptive learning.

Is it platform independent?

Our content can be deployed across multiple platforms. Once we are aware of your platform requirements, we can recommend an optimal solution for you.

XR based applications are at a nascent stage, with early adopters merely scratching the surface of the technology’s immense potential.
