A 7-year-old female is suffering from anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction, requiring specific medications, oxygen supplementation and in the advanced version, the tongue will swell not allowing for routine endotracheal intubation forcing the user to decide to perform a needle cricothyroidotomy – a critical procedure to establish an artificial airway. In the advanced version the patient will develop anaphylactic shock, a dangerous drop in blood pressure. The objective will be to teach, train, and test the user on knowledge of Anaphylaxis.
