Earlier this month, our team at i3 Simulations had the privilege of joining the UK Department for Business and Trade on a monumental Healthcare Trade Mission across India. Over three days, we traveled to Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai to demonstrate our revolutionary AI-powered immersive technologies that are transforming medical training for clinicians across the globe.
As part of a delegation of esteemed British healthcare organisations led by Professor Sir Stephen Powis, National Medical Director for NHS England, we showcased how our solutions can democratise world-class medical education. By leveraging virtual and augmented reality simulations, we are working to develop highly-skilled clinicians everywhere to improve patient outcomes.
During our time in India, we connected with over 100 healthcare leaders to discuss digital health, training, and diagnostic collaboration opportunities between the UK and India. At the Department for Business and Trade’s Healthcare Roundtable in New Delhi, British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis and British High Commissioner to Hyderabad Gareth Wynn Owen delivered remarks on primed areas for healthcare partnerships between our countries.
Our CEO Devi Kolli outlined the current technical landscape for medical simulations, and highlighted our AI-powered medical simulations as a prime example of British innovation ready to transform Indian hospitals and medical schools. By allowing clinicians to practice critical skills in an immersive virtual environment, our technology has demonstrated vast improvements in healthcare training efficiency, retention, and preparedness.
This trade mission offered an invaluable opportunity to build relationships with key healthcare system leaders as we expand our commitment to supporting the international medical workforce. We believe our solutions can revolutionise training programs across India to elevate the level of care.
As the UK and India strengthen their cooperation in healthcare innovation, i3 Simulations stands ready to play a role in this groundbreaking endeavor. We were proud to exhibit along fellow British healthcare leaders Avegen, Eye to the Future Limited, King’s College London, Oxford Brookes University, Paxman Scalp Cooling, Queen Mary University of London, Spirit Health, ReadyGo, and UCL Global Business School for Health.
With the support of visionary partners and delegations like this Healthcare Trade Mission, we believe our immersive medical training technology can empower clinicians across India and the world to provide the best possible care to their patients. As we scale globally, improving outcomes drives our mission. We look forward to continuing to build healthcare connections between the UK and India.
