On 26th May 2026, i3 Simulations won Gold in the “Delivering Innovation into Health and Care” category at the SEHTA Healthcare Business Awards, held at Scale Space, Imperial College London.
As a regional Gold winner, we were automatically entered into the Medilink UK National Healthcare Business Awards for independent judging. We have since been confirmed as a Winner in the “Excellence in Innovation” category, with the awards ceremony taking place on 9th July 2026 at Pioneer Group, Victoria House, London.

What We Have Built
Our focus has always been specific: making high-fidelity healthcare simulation training accessible, repeatable, and scalable for organisations that need it most.
Traditional simulation training is resource-intensive, difficult to expand, and often inaccessible outside specialist teaching environments. Our platform was built to help change that through three connected products.

Built for scalable institutional deployment, i3 Connect enables simulation content, analytics, and learner management to be delivered through a centralised cloud ecosystem across distributed teams and training environments. The platform is hardware-agnostic, LMS-compatible, and supported around the clock.
i3 Labs
Our modular XR classroom environments are designed for institutions building or scaling simulation facilities, with integrated hardware, software, analytics, and multi-user capability without the specialist infrastructure traditionally required.
i3 Nucleus
Our AI-assisted no-code simulation authoring platform enables clinical educators to build, customise, and publish immersive scenarios without specialist technical skills.
Using a visual editor, conversational AI tools, and an advanced physiological engine that models realistic patient responses, simulation creation that previously took months can now be completed significantly faster and more efficiently.
Together, these technologies form an end-to-end ecosystem for scalable, evidence-based healthcare education.
Why This Matters
Healthcare systems globally remain under sustained pressure. Workforce shortages, rising training demand, and increasing patient safety expectations are not easing.
High-fidelity simulation is widely recognised as one of the most effective tools available to clinical educators, but traditional approaches have struggled to scale efficiently.
Recognition from independent judges across healthcare, academia, and industry reinforces that immersive XR simulation is no longer a fringe or experimental technology.
For NHS trusts, universities, and simulation centres evaluating whether immersive simulation is ready for real-world deployment at scale, the answer is increasingly clear.
