Researcher Opportunity: Medical Metaverse
Researcher Opportunity: Medical Metaverse
i3 Simulations is partnering with the NIHR and MMU’s Creative AR VR Hub to support Medical Metaverse research project.

We’re excited to let you know that i3 Simulations is partnering with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and professors Timothy Jung and Mandy Claudia tom Dieck from Manchester Metropolitan University’s Creative AR VR Hub. Our shared goal? Constructing a healthcare Metaverse.

In this collaboration, we aim to utilize virtual reality, augmented reality, and immersive technologies to build a new space for healthcare. We hope to improve patient care, medical training, and research by merging virtual and physical worlds.

The highlights of our collaboration include:

  1. Improving Patient Care: We plan to use technology to enhance patient experiences and provide more personalized care.
  2. Advancing Medical Training: We aim to broaden the scope of medical training by providing an immersive learning environment through the Metaverse.
  3. Promoting Innovative Research: The healthcare Metaverse will serve as a new platform for research, helping address healthcare challenges.

Interested in joining us in this endeavor? Candidates can apply using this link before 10 July.

We’ll keep you updated on our progress as we take on this new project! We hope to transform healthcare by integrating technology in meaningful ways.
